PixyPlace

A tiny pixel world two people build together, a little every day.

How it works

  1. Create a world. One tap makes a small pixel world. No account, no password, nothing to download.
  2. Invite your person. Send the link or a 6-letter room code. Once they join, the world belongs to just the two of you.
  3. Paint a little every day. A new ink drop comes every 10 minutes. Paint live together, or leave a surprise for later.
  4. Watch it grow. Paint on the same days and your world grows bigger. Replay it all as a timelapse and share it.

Questions

What is PixyPlace?

A free, cozy pixel canvas for exactly two people: couples, best friends, siblings, long-distance anything. You build one small world together, a few pixels at a time, and it's kept forever.

Is it free? Do we need an account or an app?

It's free. It runs in your phone's browser, so there's nothing to install, and there are no accounts: the invite link is all you need.

Can we play it long distance?

Yes, that's what it's made for. Paint at the same time and watch each other's pixels appear live, or play at different times: when you come back, a short replay shows what your person painted while you were away.

How is it different from r/place or Wplace?

Those are huge public canvases shared with strangers. PixyPlace is private and calm: one world, two people, no fighting over pixels. Your partner's fresh pixels are even protected for 3 hours.

Can we draw a picture together?

Yes. Choose "A drawing" to paint a picture from the gallery side by side, or turn your own photo into pixel art and paint it together.

Can other people see our world?

No. Only the two of you can open it. Nobody else sees it unless you share a picture or a timelapse yourselves.
